Located on Hilldale Avenue in Haverhill, Ma for the last 36 years, Daal’s Bridal Center has been outfitting brides and their bridal parties for their special day. Staying a family-owned business, Daal’s calls more than 2,000 brides family.

In 1973, Joanne Calabro, at the young age of 24, purchased Daal’s, which at the time was a lingerie store. Calabro had always dreamed of having her own dress shop. After studying under Valentino in Rome and interning at many bridal design houses, she was ready to have her own store. She always wanted to help make people look and feel their best. She thought their was no better job than to bring happiness to others.

Throughout the years, Joanne raised her three children in the store, with her youngest daughter, Monica sharing her passion for weddings and special occasions. By watching her mother, a skilled seamstress and entrepreneur, since she was born, Monica knew that one day she would take over the store.

In 2005, Monica took over the shop from her mother. She continues her mother’s great reputation and legacy as the most honest and professional bridal consultant in the Merrimack Valley. Every bride works exclusively with Monica from the time they pick their dress out to the time they pick up their dress.

Since 1973, Daal’s great reputation has been based on a simple idea: “Brides don’t want to work with salespeople, they want to work with someone who has the knowledge and expertise that will help them make their special day truly beautiful.”
